The thing is, the job doesn’t just cover the mechanic aspect of the escalator’s operation – it actually concentrates on things like the flow of people through the escalator in both directions. So for example, your escalator consultants can have a look at the building’s layout, how people come in and out of the escalator, and they can use that to figure out if you can rearrange some of the furniture or other design elements to improve the traffic of people through the building, and make it easier for both them and your own staff.
