What all are checked?

It is necessary for the elevator to have an emergency phone line that has access to 911 operators. The machine room of the elevator will also be thoroughly checked by the elevator preventive maintenance personnel. The head room space, lights inside the machine room, the control panel and the emergency stop switch etc will all be closely checked by the personnel.
